History

Representaciones J. Tejeira, S.A is a traditional family business. The General Manager , Mr Javier Tejeira is the great-grandson of one of the founder fathers of the Republic of Panamá. Tomás Arias Avila, a businessman as a profession.

Mr. Javier Tejeira Arias learn the business at a very young age, when in 1987 started working for his grand-dad, Tomas Arias Revello, in Tomas Arias Agency, a very respectable agency in Panamá which represented and distributed very prestigious brands from pharmaceuticals, health care products, liquors, tobacco, etc.

Later in 1991, Mr. Tejeira Arias as a shareholder and sales manager became part of another family business, Representaciones Galber, besides his father, Gabriel Tejeira Morales. The company represented products related to tobacco like the brand ¨smoking¨. And in 1998 they introduced a new line of products like canned foods, sardines, tuna, raw materials like plastics, etc.

In the year 2005, Tejeira Arias established his own company, Representaciones J. Tejeira, S.A. as the representative agent and distributor of the prestigious brands like Hams and meatloaf HEREFORD, including other lines of dietary and canned foods. Mr. Javier Tejeira Arias study business administration from the Universidad Catolica Santa Maria la Antigua (USMA).
